Marion Davies Guest House

Once a home away from home for Marion's family and friends, this historic house opens its doors to guests once again. The character of the building has been preserved, while modern touches have been added. The Marion Davies Guest House is perfectly suited to intimate events and meetings in Santa Monica. 

Parlor and Dining Room - These first floor rooms feature carefully-restored details and highly-appointed decor.

Guest House Garden - This tucked away gem is easily accessed by stairs from the balcony off the Parlor or ramp from the Garden Terrace. Flecks of seaglass mark the spot where Marion's guests once cooled off in a plunge pool.

Veranda Rooms - Set on the second floor overlooking the ocean, these rooms are perfect for seated meetings or casual luncheons. Double doors make it easy to use them in combination.

Retreat Rooms - Three petite rooms on the second floor are ideal for breakout sessions.

Please note that rental availability is limited during the summer. From June 18 to September 2, the Guest House is available evenings and weekends beginning at 6 pm. On Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day, the Guest House is not available to rent.

Event House

The Event House is as elegant as it is versatile. By day, modern window-lined rooms capture views of the gardens, the beach and the vast Pacific beyond. When the sun goes down, the terrace and pool glow with festive lighting. Rooms may be used independently or as a suite for Santa Monica events. 

Garden Terrace Room - From presentations to ballroom dancing, this largest single room on site suits a full spectrum of uses.

Terrace Lounge - Intimate gatherings will feel right at home in the Terrace Lounge. It also easily serves as a companion to the adjoining Garden Terrace Room.

Club Room - The Club Room offers a bright yet secluded space with tranquil views of the Garden Terrace, water wall and Guest House.

Please note that rental availability is limited during the summer. From June 18 to September 2, the Event House is available evenings and weekends beginning at 6 pm. On Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day, the Event House is not available to rent.

Pool & Pool House

With iconic white pillars soaring over the historic turquoise pool, the new Pool House reinterprets the original Davies mansion for modern times and inspired California coast events.

Sand & Sea Room - High above it all, this space captures an astonishing view of the horizon. When combined with the adjacent View Deck, this is the spot for mixing and mingling by the sea. 

Pool and Pool Deck - The historic pool and its lovely tiles have been carefully restored. The pool is surrounded by a deck with the original marble inlay.

Please note that from June 14 to September 10, the Pool & Pool House are not available to rent.
