What is the Annenberg Community Beach House?
The Annenberg Community Beach House is a new public facility on Santa Monica State Beach. It features a pool, splash pad, play area, beach volleyball and tennis courts, gardens, event space, Back on the Beach Cafe, and the historic Marion Davies Guest House.
How much does it cost to join?
There is no membership required to use the Beach House. Most of the site is free and open daily. Please note, the pool is now mostly closed until June. It may open on short notice if the weather calls for it. Check this website or become our fan on Facebook to receive updates.
How can I get a quarterly or monthly pass?
We do not offer quarterly or monthly passes.
What does a pool pass provide? Is there a gym, sauna, or jacuzzi?
Pool passes include access to the Pool House with changing areas, lockers, showers and the second floor View Deck (open to the public when the pool is closed). There is no gym, sauna or jacuzzi.
Is the Beach House just for Santa Monica residents?
The Beach House is open to everyone!
Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes. During the off-season, parking is $3 per hour or $8 per day.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, via solar collectors on the roof of the Event House.
Is the Beach House accessible to persons with disabilities?
Yes. The Beach House, including the historic pool and Marion Davies Guest House, is fully accessible. There is also a new wheelchair-friendly walkway that extends very close to the shoreline.
Are dogs allowed?
If your dog is a service animal, yes. If not, no. Sorry!
Is the Beach House available to rent for meetings, celebrations and weddings?

Can I bring food?
